Have you already completed some kinesiology or other related training? If so, you may qualify for Recognition to Prior Learning (RPL) or a Credit Transfer (CT) towards your qualification.
ACKM bases its kinesiology training on the Touch for Health Synthesis recognised by the International Kinesiology College and the Professional Kinesiology Practitioner Certification program recognised by the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice. If you have completed this training and any other peak body recognised kinesiology training, ACKM will recognise this prior learning and formally RPL your certificates of proficiency or competency into a nationally recognised qualification. Perhaps you have industry recognition such as an Ordinary Member with the AIK or Specialised Kinesiology Practitioner (previously AKA Practitioner Level 1) and would like to upgrade your qualifications to Certificate IV in Kinesiology. This may be easier than you think and your successful application may give you the qualification very quickly.
Applying for skills recognition (Recognised Prior Learning)
Look at the course outline and core units to get an overview of the competency criteria required for the course you are seeking an RPL. Complete the RPL application forms and gather your evidence. Contact your campus to make an appointment with the registrar or principal to discuss your application.
You must use a separate form for each application. If your evidence covers more than one unit, you must make photocopies to attach to each application as units are assessed and filed separately.

International Kinesiology Instructor Training Programs
The following two training programs provide a genuine pathway for any Kinesiology practitioner to become an International Kinesiology Instructor with the IKC - International Kinesiology College & a Faculty of ICPKP - International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice. Both these programs are available through ACKM as Arthur Bablis is the only dual IKC Trainer & ICPKP Faculty Trainer in Australia.
Touch For Health Instructor Training Workshop - IKC Instructor Program
- Prerequisite: TFH 1,2,3,4 Proficiency plus the TFH Practical Exercices workbook
At the end of this training you will become an International TFH Instructor and be able to teach TFH 1-4 anywhere in the world plus teach
the following accredited lifestyle courses; Kinesiology for Kids, Eat Right Live Right, Healthy Pets, Perceptive Vision.
FAC 1 - Faculty Admission Course 1 - ICPKP Instructor Training Program
- Prerequisite: Certificate IV in Kinesiology (HLT42807) through ICPKP Australasia or equivalent being an International Certificate in
Professional Kinesiology Practice - ICPKP
At the end of this program you will qualify to receive a Faculty agreement with ICPKP International and be able to teach the Certificate in
Self Care, Certificate of Kinesiology 4 Wellness, Certificate in Basic Kinesiology Principles. In Australia you will be able to receive a
license with ICPKP Australasia and become an affiliate instructor and be able to teach the Kinesiology component of the Certificate IV in
